There’s a bit of a story with this one. I’ve sold a small painting locally and decided to post it myself. I walked to the opposite side of the valley and saw those houses with trees and thought something like that will make a nice subject for another painting. I took my phone out and took some shots for a bit of reference, although I prefer not to copy reality too close. Immediately an old man approached me and quite rudely started to ask where I am from, getting even more rude when he heard I have an accent. Because foreigners are always up to no good and should be treated with suspicion, of course 😡 He never believed I live in town and am a local citizen. Anyway, I felt I needed to finish the little painting, as an act of rebellion. 😊
